Spring and Easter are upon us.   Bringing new opportunities for growth, new beginnings, friendships and new happenings at Oasis. Come and spend some time with your Oasis family.  If you are new to our family, spend some time getting to know who we are, and what Spring and Easter have to offer you and your family.

We are an Affirmed Church and therefore everyone is welcome.  On February 29, 2008 we had our 8th year anniversary.  Oasis began with a very enthusiastic 53 person group that has almost doubled, and become Oasis as we know it today.

Check out one of our Sunday services at 11 am, or drop by our office and talk to our lovely office administrator or one of our sweet volunteers from 9 am to noon.  Call our office 250-770-0182 during office hours if you have any questions.

We have a myriad of creative and regular events taking place at Oasis.   There is something for everyone, so give us a try.  Drop in on a Sunday while you are venturing out and you may be surprised.

Some of the upcoming events and gatherings include Centering Prayer, Children’s Church, Crystal Singing Bowls, Easter Gatherings,  Lens on Lent, Living Compassion, Men’s Breakfast, Oasis Healing Ministry,  Prayer Shawl Ministry Gathering, Social Action in collaboration with the United Church of Canada, Soul Collage, Sunday Services and Smaller Gatherings within the many Passion Clusters of Oasis.

There is so much more that may tantalize your interest. What is your passion or talent? What creativity do you like to share? We hope that we have the pleasure of meeting many new friends of Oasis and enjoying the essence of your talents and being.

Remember to move your clocks ahead 1 hour on Sunday March 13th from 2 am to 3 am for Daylight Savings Time.   Some of us prefer to turn the clocks ahead the night before. There will be more time for those great outdoor events.   Blessings
